The digital version, equipped with PROFIBUS PA and additional diagnostic features, enhances its functionality and usability. It comes with a display, making it suitable for standalone use, and facilitates network connection through PROFIBUS PA communication.
In terms of alarms, the standard version includes 3 LED indicators with basic relay and solid-state switch alarms, while the digital version provides an integral LCD display. The power supply, galvanically isolated and compatible with a wide range of voltages, adds to its reliability.
Constructed with stainless steel and PPS (with PVDF optional), the probe can withstand temperatures up to +125 °C (+257 °F) on the process wetted portion. Importantly, the CLS200 operates independently of the tank wall or pipe, eliminating the need for an external reference electrode for level detection in non-conductive vessels.
