JISKOOT Pipeline Mixers

A Pipe Line Mixer is a machine used for mixing solids or powders into a liquid, where the client requires a particular particle size, the mixing head is adjustable to suit the required particle size. It works on the same principle as a colloid mill but it does not have the adjustment feature of the gap between the rotor & the stator.

The JISKOOT JetMix Pipeline Mixer employs a pump to withdraw a small portion of the process fluid and reintroduce it into the pipeline as high-velocity jets upstream of the sampling system. This method, designed in accordance with Annexe A (ISO 3171) calculations, facilitates effective mixing across various flow rates, meeting critical requirements for applications such as marine loading/unloading.

The system aims to achieve a C1/C2 ratio above 0.9 for the full range of flow rates and fluid properties, in line with sampling standards. Notably, JISKOOT mixing systems are meticulously designed to ensure total system compliance, adhering to Annexe A mixing calculations at minimum flow rates, viscosity, and density.

In scenarios with limited flow turn-down (generally less than 4:1), utilizing a static mixer may be suitable, as it can offer low pressure-drop and ample mixing at all flow rates to meet standards. Static mixers provided by Cameron are backed by C1/C2 and pressure drop estimates, ensuring compliance with the necessary requirements
