JISKOOT Loop Extractors

The Jiskoot™ ByScoop Sample Take-off Probe is designed with a large bore (33.5mm) to create a representative bypass loop of liquid product within a process pipeline. This bypass loop allows for the remote mounting of measurement devices, such as samplers or online analyzers, and easy isolation when needed. The probe can be used with fluids compatible with its material and within specified process pressure, temperature, and pipeline velocity limits.
 
Variants of the ByScoop include simple takeoff connections or takeoff and return options, and some are "fixed" while others are withdrawable under pressurized conditions with an appropriate extraction device. While designed for hydrocarbon sampling, its application is not limited to this, and the sample representivity depends on proper installation in a homogenous process stream, with guidance available from Jiskoot.
 
When operated within its design envelope, the ByScoop entry prevents biasing of the slipstream components and provides ample strength to overcome flow-induced bending moments or vortex shedding. This robust design and versatility make it a valuable tool for various sampling needs.


JISKOOT ByScoop

The JISKOOT ByScoop offers a withdrawable design for installation in pressurized lines, providing flexibility for sampling and analysis loops. It is available as a simple take-off or with an integral return at the pipe-wall, aiming to eliminate bias in the bypass loop.

The ByScoop's design also allows for removal under line conditions for pigging, offering convenience and operational efficiency. Additionally, it is tailored to ensure optimum representativity for various on-line analyzers, complying with sampling standards and available in a range of pressure ratings to suit different pipelines.
