RADIOACTIVE SOURCE DISPOSAL AND HANDLING 
 
Gauging & Automation has been one of the very few  Radioactive/Nucleonics/Gamma Ray Instrumentation company in Singapore. 
 
Since 1991, we have been supplying, installing, maintaining and servicing many Radioactive/Nucleonics instrumentation to serve the industries and application where no other conventional instruments can satisfy the measurement performance, reliability and safety either due to extremely high temp and pressure,highly dangerous toxic and harmful material in the reactor/tank/vessels where only Non-contact radioactive instrumentation work.
 
Our highly trained and registered licensed radioactive instrumentation engineer provide, registration & licensing consultation with NEA Radiation Protection & Nuclear Science Department on the usage, the import and export of radioactive material.
 
One of the much sought after services is :
a) the onsite safety briefing to the licensed radiation worker involved in the installation process.
b)  The yearly wipe & leak test of the sealed radioactive isotope  source kept by the registered user in their plant.
c) The subsequent disposal of the used / spent source back to the original source manufacturer or source recycling company outside of Singapore.
d) Some basic radiation safety training.
 
Being the sole distributor for Berthold Technologies radioactive instruments in Singapore, we have extensive knowledge in the handling and disposal of sealed radioactive sources as a commitment to our customers who bought our products
 
For non Berthold manufactured radioactive source, as a service to our valued customers, we may be able to handle and dispose off such source on case by case basis incumbent upon the source conditions, name of radio-isotope, its activity and the full disclosure of the source information such as the name of the original manufacturer, drawing and declaration, ISO standard, source certificate, IR2 license registered with NEA.
