More details

The NOSHOK 25 Series sanitary pressure transmitter is built for heavy-duty applications in the food and beverage sector that demand high accuracy, shock resistance, and durability. Pressure and temperature sensors are located directly below the diaphragm in the transmitter, reducing fill fluid, allowing for a smaller diaphragm, and reducing the risk of damage. This minimizes temperature and position inaccuracy by providing dynamic temperature correction at the site of measurement. The diaphragms are laser-welded and leak-tested with helium.

The 25 Series transmitter has an on-board, 360-degree rotatable display that makes programming simple. Range adjustment does not require a reference pressure, and linearization can be done for a variety of tank designs. The transmitter is 3A authorized, may be cleaned in place (CIP) or steamed in place (SIP), and comes with a variety of options.

  • Easy programming and range adjustment without test pressure via on-board display
  • Accuracy 0.2% of adjusted span
  • 4:1 turn down
  • Active temperature compensation
  • Ranges from -160 inH2O vac to 1,160 psig
  • Hart® protocol output available
  • All Stainless Steel housing and wetted parts
  • Strong flush diaphragm with minimal fill volume
  • Can be cleaned-in-place (CIP) or steamed-in-place (SIP)
  • Meets 3A requirements

More details

NOSHOK 30 Series intelligent sanitary transmitters are solid-state weight and level transmitters utilizing a piezoresistive silicone sensor with an extremely high burst pressure. The sensor component is mounted in a Stainless Steel foot. Inside the foot a temperature sensor is additionally mounted to give active temperature compensation during operationto minimize error caused by temperature effect. A compact, robust Stainless Steel flush diaphragm design also minimizes the fill liquid content and greatly reduced the potential damage. Diaphrams are laser welded and helium leak tested. A little amount of oil fills the chamber encompassing the sensor and create pressure from the flush mounted diaphragm to the sensor. Pressure on the sensor element generates a very little deflection of the silicon substrate and bridge network. Due to strain in the silicon resistors, it alters the bridge resistance proportional to the pressure applied. The transmitter electronics detects this changed in bridge resistance and convert it into 4-20 mA signal. The amplifier system inside the transmitter was based on a single Integrated circuit, which generate a perfect linearity in the 4-20 mA output. The flush diaphragm technology ensures reliable stability over a long-term. The All Stainless Steel pressure transmitters design do not have oil filling and are based on a ceramic pressure cell, with extremely high burst pressure limit.

Ideal for applications including tank level measurement, food & beverage, dairy, breweries, chemical processing and pharmaceutical.

The Noshok 800 Series Pressure Transmitter/Switch is used for the switching of circuits as a function of the measured pressure. In addition, the pressure value can be output to appropriate read-out units as a standardized analog signal. The switching conditions can be programmed directly at the pressure transmitter/switch (switch and reset points,etc.). Via the different display elements, switching statuses and pressure values can be read.
