HVT Venturi Tube

A Venturi tube meter is a flow measurement device that determines the flow rate of fluids by utilizing a specially designed tube that narrows in the middle, causing the fluid to accelerate and create a differential pressure, which can then be measured to calculate the flow rate; it is known for its efficiency and low permanent pressure loss, making it widely used in applications such as water treatment and chemical processing.


Differential Pressure Type — HVT-Series

The HVT-Series Venturi Tube for flow measurement features a gradually narrowing inlet, a cylindrical neck, and a widening conical part, offering advantages such as low pressure loss, no moving parts for reduced maintenance, a long service life, and a design that minimizes sedimentation of foreign substances.
 
Operation Principle
When the HVT-Series is installed in a pipeline through which fluid flows, the fluid passes through the neck of the Venturi tube, increasing its speed and decreasing its pressure, creating a pressure difference between the front and back ends. The differential pressure generated at this time can be measured to obtain the flow rate using Bernoulli's law.
