DP Gauges / Indicating Switches

Cameron's BARTON® indicators offer versatility in terms of safe working pressures and differential pressure ranges, making them suitable for a wide array of applications. Their widespread use in measuring differential pressure, flow rate, and liquid level applications speaks to their adaptability and reliability across different operational needs.

Cameron's BARTON® differential pressure switches appear to be highly versatile, catering to a wide range of safe working pressures and differential pressure needs. Their widespread use in applications involving the measurement of differential pressure, flow rate, and liquid level underscores their adaptability. Moreover, the provision of accuracy, narrow deadband, and repeatability of switch action at set point indicates their reliability in ensuring precise and consistent performance.

The actuation of Cameron's BARTON® indicators and switches by a rupture-proof bellows differential pressure unit (DPU) with integral temperature compensation indicates a robust design aimed at ensuring reliable and accurate performance. The incorporation of integral temperature compensation likely enhances their precision across a range of operating conditions, making them suitable for applications where temperature variations are a concern. This feature underscores the emphasis on both safety and accuracy in their design, potentially making them a dependable choice for a variety of industrial applications.

The Cameron's BARTON® Model 227C Differential Pressure Indicator is specifically crafted for measuring liquid flow or liquid level. When used for flow measurement tasks, the indicator is linked to the low and high pressure sides of a primary device such as an orifice plate, venturi tube, or flow tube within the process setup. For liquid level measurement purposes, the indicator is connected to track alterations in differential pressure corresponding to changes in the liquid height within a vessel.

The Model 227C Differential Pressure Indicator features a 6-inch dial with an indicating pointer that moves along a 270° arc (nominal) to measure differential pressure, flow, or liquid level. The indicator movement includes a micrometer screw for range adjustment. Zero adjustment is achieved by "slipping" the pointer on the hub, a task that can be completed without removing the scaleplate or pointer. Similarly, range adjustments can be made without the need to remove the scaleplate or pointer. Linearity adjustments are accessible after removing the scale plate.

The Cameron's BARTON® Models 288C is a weatherproof and are DP Indicating Switches. A robust and versatile indicating switch with impressive pressure ratings and customizable switch options. The 288C feature a NEMA-4 watertight die-cast aluminum case with a weather-resistant black epoxy resin paint finish. The NEMA-4 case ensures protection in harsh environments, and the availability of stainless steel further enhances durability. Additionally, the cover lens is secured with an elastomer ring to prevent accidental breakage and maintain a moisture, fume, and dust-free environment.

This switch  include built-in switches that activate single or dual alarm circuits when the measured differential pressures exceed predetermined limits, which can be maximum, minimum, or both.

The Cameron's BARTON® Models 200A and 200AS indicators are versatile tools that can measure differential pressure, fluid flow rate, or liquid level. When used for fluid flow measurements, the indicator is connected to the low- and high-pressure sides of a primary device in the process run. For liquid level applications, changes in the liquid level within the vessel result in differential pressure changes that indicate the liquid height. The indicators feature a pointer that moves through a 270-degree arc over a six-inch diameter scale, with a micrometer screw for range adjustment. The pointer hub adjustment can be made without removing the scale plate or pointer, and range and linearity adjustments are accessible after removing the scale plate. The Model 200AS, with its optional 316 stainless steel case, is recommended for use in corrosive environments.

These indicators feature a rupture-proof bellows differential pressure unit (DPU) with integral temperature compensation. The M199 DPU includes dual liquid-filled bellows that can withstand repeated overranges without affecting calibration. The indicating pointer moves through a 270-degree arc for easy readability and is driven by a precision jeweled rotary movement that uses a Ni-Span-C hair spring for thermal stability.

More details

The Cameron's BARTON® Model 199 Differential Pressure Unit (DPU) is a mechanical device designed to accurately measure differential pressure in relation to the flow of gas or liquid through a process system, or to the level of liquid within a process vessel. When used for process flow measurements, the DPU is typically connected across a primary device such as a venturi, an orifice plate, or a flow tube within the process system. In the case of liquid level measurements, the DPU can be connected in various configurations to detect pressure differences resulting from changes in the liquid level within the process vessel.

The Cameron's BARTON® Model 224C Differential Pressure Unit (DPU) is a mechanical device used to measure the difference in pressure related to the flow of gas or liquid within a process system, or to monitor the level of liquid in a process vessel. When utilized for process flow measurements, the DPU is linked across a primary device like a venturi, orifice plate, or flow tube situated in the process system. In the case of liquid level measurements, the DPU can be connected in different configurations to gauge the pressure variance resulting from changes in the liquid level within the process vessel.
